Karyl Charna Lynn
The Opera Critic
A noted international opera expert, Karyl Charna Lynn (previously known as Karyl Lynn Zietz), has been covering the international opera scene since 1989, and is considered a highly respected and important figure in the world of opera.

In her newest of six books, Italian Opera Houses and Festivals, she writes about the opera houses, companies, history, architecture, and travel in Italy, as she has in her first five book on the subject, including the recently reprinted Opera Companies and Houses of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and Opera Companies and Houses of the United States, both of which have been called the definitive reference books on the subject. She is one of the main critics and feature writers for the influential London-based magazine Opera Now (U.K) and also contributes to the Berlin-based Opera Orpheus International (Germany). Her writings have taken her to more than 300 opera houses around the world, and she is listed in six Who's Who, including Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.
